Turn off built-in monitor display when connected with external monitor

There are noway to actually turn off built-in monitor. But we can - Make it minor with a external monitor - Reduce the built-in brightness to 0 so we can ignore it. Steps:

  • Open displays menu in settings

  • Choose Agreement tab

  • Hold option key, and drag drop built-in monitor icon to a external displays. After drop you will see they are minors

  • Choose Display tab, choose the resolution of the minored external monitor

  • Reduce the built-in brightness to 0

  • Done
